I recently earned my B.A. in Studio Art from Hastings College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a focus on sculptural storytelling and material exploration.
I'm a multidisciplinary artist working across ceramics, sculpture, metalwork, and glassblowing. My practice explores the intersection of memory and material, often transforming soft, disposable, or nostalgic objects into lasting, handcrafted forms. I achieve this through a variety of techniques, such as trompe l'oeil, slip casting, welding, and glassblowing. These techniques allow me to explore the tension between permanence and impermanence, as well as the intersection of the industrial and the intimate.
My work is a celebration of texture, surface, and the emotional weight that everyday objects carry. Whether I'm shaping clay, steel, or glass, I always strive to strike a balance between playfulness and precision. Each piece I craft carries a personal history, inviting the viewer to connect and interpret it in their unique way.
